Licensed, bonded and fully insured, our staff receive ongoing training and support to ensure they consistently provide the highest-quality care.

Care Management

This program provides individuals and families with an Elderlink care manager who offers guidance and assistance in obtaining a wide range of services—all aimed at helping older adults maintain their quality of life and independence. We visit each client’s home to assess the level and scope of services needed, then develop a personalized plan for long-term care. Responding especially to the concerns of long-distance caregivers, Elderlink care management helps navigate through the maze of available services to find the right solutions for every family.

Aquatic Exercise Classes

Elderlink’s indoor swimming pool, maintained at a comfortable 92 degrees, includes a convenient entrance ramp and a submersible wheelchair for easy access. Our aquatic exercise program was designed by the Arthritis Foundation for older adults who have chronic pain, impaired joint mobility or arthritis, or who are recovering from joint replacement surgery. We also have a program for people with Parkinson’s and other movement disorders who need help with balance and coordination.

Alzheimer’s Support Groups

To help meet the emotional needs of families whose loved ones have Alzheimer’s, Redwood Elderlink and the Alzheimer’s Association co-sponsor several support groups free of charge. Family and friends come together to discuss the challenges of caregiving, and to share useful information and provide mutual support.

Transportation

Want to do some shopping? Need a ride to the doctor? Hoping to visit an old friend? Sign up for our Out & About transportation service. Elderlink’s free shopping shuttle visits your nearest Vons shopping center and many other destinations, including Target, Henry’s Marketplace and the North County Fair Mall.
